Candice Shepard
The Legacy Law Group is led by our founder and CEO, Candice L. Shepard, an attorney with over 25 years of experience.
Originally from the Midwest, Candice attended the University of Illinois earning her undergraduate degree in Communications, and the University of Iowa for her Juris Doctorate. She moved with her family to North Carolina in 2006 and is now completely converted to the Southern way of living!
Candice has practiced law in several focused ways, with the common thread throughout her career attending to her drive to help people, to walk alongside her clients as they build and grow, and to help them protect their family and the legacy they are building. A strong entrepreneur and business woman herself, Candice created Legacy Law Group to assist her fellow business owners, moms and dads, folks building their careers or wrapping up a lifetime of hard work to properly organize their businesses and estates in order to create, protect, and leave a legacy for their families and charitable endeavors. She intended Legacy to be a wholistic approach to managing the business of life, and the law of business. The firm does all things related to planning and running a small business, creating a plan for your estate, and, when that time comes, wrapping up an estate.
Candice is a dedicated attorney, author, public speaker, and mother. She loves nothing more than living a life she has built with intention with her fiancée, four (nearly adult) children, and a handful of "critters" in the outskirts of Charlotte.
